Sitting in the back of the Leaky, Charlie nursed his ale waiting for Bill to show up. He was still wearing his work clothes, the flannel shirt torn at the shoulder, mud caking his boots. It'd been a rough day, one of the Welsh's being in a foul temper over an attack by a Horntail. He'd finished up at the reserve, grabbed his pack and the Portkey and arrived five minutes before the time he'd owled Bill and told him to meet him.
